Team Vogue was present at the Vogue Wedding Show in full strength. From left to right senior fashion features editor Priyanka Khanna, marketing director Oona Dhabar, fashion director Anaita Shroff Adajania and editor Priya Tanna, who hosted a lunch for Delhi’s who’s who.

As the prestigious Vogue Wedding Show erupted with all the glamour, sophistication and glorious creations we expected last weekend, here at Think Shaadi we thought we’d lift the lid on what’s going on behind the scenes, giving you some quotes from those who make this show the most evocative and exciting of the fashion calendar. We had a number of enthusiastic brides and their families attend the show, from whom we received some glowing reviews.

For Vogue to create such a magnificent show, it helps to secure some good associations, and they have done so with Forevermark Media. President of Forevermark says of his companies association with the Vogue Wedding Show “Forevermark is proud of its association with the Vogue Wedding Show. Every Forevermark diamond is inscribed with our promise: a promise that it is beautiful, rare and responsibly sourced making it less than 1% of the world’s diamonds.”

Nirav Modi’s oasis of glitz.

“The beauty of a Forevermark diamond is brought out through the world’s finest craftsmen using skill and artistry passed down through the generations. It gives us a chance to be showcased and complement the explosion of stunning creations exhibited by India’s leading designers. It is an absolute delight to be present at a platform that appeals to the sensibilities and tastes of the modern day bride.”

Need we mention that the Vogue Wedding Show is also an hypnotic kaleidoscope of jewells.

Another of the shows partners, Abanti Sankaranarayanan, Managing Director of Diageo India added “We are very excited to partner with this unique extravaganza presented by Vogue, which perfectly blends sophistication, luxury and grandeur in equal measures. We believe that Diageo’s vast portfolio of preciously crafted liquids and rare blends like Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18, Johnnie Walker Gold Label, CIROC, Singleton and many more, extend a delightful and enriching experience at every wedding.”

Guests consult Tarun Tahiliani on the chicest bridal wear trends.

“Our bespoke wedding solutions include an array of sensorial offerings like specially curated menus and cocktails, customized bars, whisky/malt appreciation sessions and interactions with expert mixologists. At the heart of all these are our liquids, that indulge your senses in rare and exotic flavours, making every moment of this ultimate celebration unforgettable.”
